Hello, my name is Lindsey Billett. I grew up in State College, Pennsylvania but now I live in Bangor, Maine.
I love to spend time with my 5 children and stepchildren- oftentimes going to the park, taking walks, riding bikes, or even having a movie night. When I have some free time I enjoy coloring, listening to music, catching up on TV shows, reading mystery books, baking goodies, and completing DIY crafts.
It is important to me that I show my children that hard work, dedication, and perseverance can get you far in life. I believe that everyone has a past, but it is what you do to make changes in the present that decides your future. It is important to set goals for yourself, to challenge your abilities, and to prove to yourself that you can do it.
I am currently attending classes for the Medical Administrative Assistant program and my coursework has required computer work. The Medical terminology class uses a book that has learning tools that can only be accessed online, and I know that throughout the program, more classes will as well (such as Anatomy and Physiology). These tools have proved to be very beneficial to me, but without a computer, finding computer access has been difficult due to time restraints. Not only would a computer help greatly in my studies and coursework, it will help me after graduation with staying up-to-date with my Coding and Billing continuing education units (CEUs).
Thank you for your time, consideration and support. It means so much to me that you are willing to not only invest in my future, but to help me provide for my family.
